The champagne category is relatively traditional in terms of creative approach, channels and media. This has offered us a great opportunity to challenge convention and add a layer of sophistication to Laurent-Perrier’s digital play book, targeting and engaging L-P’s core audiences to deliver the depth of craft and rich narrative behind the brand. Starting with a digital strategy, our approach has been to clearly define channels, roles and measurement criteria geared against the KPI’s of growing visibility and sales. The main shift we’ve instigated is media usage and shift from a reliance on traditional media by adopting highly targeted and data driven digital media channels to improve response and reduce wastage. Our approach has been geared to shift top of mind awareness, deepen brand engagement and funnel into a sales scenario for conversion.
Activity commenced in June 2017 and the shift has already improved visibility, enhanced engagement and actively delivered consumers into sales scenarios for conversion. Our media approach as reduced 40%+ wastage and improve react to L-P’s core target audiences whilst optimising partner channels.
